Portfolios

It is all very well building a trading history on a chart, and viewing the Trading Report for the chart, but very few traders make their money by trading a single instrument (on an End Of Day basis, as a swing or position trader; many daytraders who are working intraday do of course concentrate on trading a single instrument).

Sentient Trader has a powerful Portfolio Manager feature which allows you to monitor the progress of trading a portfolio of instruments in much the same way that the Trading Report provides you with information about the trading of a single instrument.

In order to see the results of trading a portfolio of instruments you must first create the portfolio, which means that you tell Sentient Trader which instruments (in the form of charts with trading histories) you want to include in the portfolio.
