Metatrader 4 is a very popular (and free) trading platform which is used mostly
for trading forex, although increasingly brokers are enabling the trading of other
classes of instruments.
Sentient Trader is fairly unique in that it can access historical and live streaming
data from MT4, although as the technology that MT4 uses to distribute data (which
is not after all its primary purpose) is slightly old there are a few tricks that
you need to get it working smoothly.
